WellSpoke was founded by naturopathic doctors and medical doctors who saw first-hand how hard it is for NDs to access timely medical collaboration. Our team of licensed Canadian medical doctors brings clinical depth, regulatory credibility, and a genuine understanding of naturopathic practice to every consult.

FAQ
Does WellSpoke replace the ND's role with the patient?
No. WellSpoke is a collaborative consult service. Your patient's primary relationship is with you. We provide a focused medical opinion and return it to you; we don't take over the case.
What provinces do you serve?
We currently work with NDs in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. If you're in another province, reach out as we're expanding.
Does a prescription come with every consult?
Not automatically. Prescriptions are issued at the clinical discretion of the assessing medical doctor. If a prescription isn't appropriate, we'll explain why in the consult letter.
What types of consults can I submit?
WellSpoke supports basic medication renewals, hormone therapy, weight loss medications, and other clearly framed clinical questions. The first-time consult does not include labs, imaging, or referrals. If you're unsure whether your case is appropriate, reach out before submitting.
Can WellSpoke order labs or imaging?
Labs and imaging are considered case by case, and only when medically necessary, clearly indicated, and with a clear accountability pathway for follow-up of results.
Does WellSpoke support controlled substances?
TRT and ADHD consults are supported, but only once you have an established consult history with WellSpoke. They are not included in the first-time consult.
Who reviews my consult?
Every consult is reviewed by a licensed Canadian medical doctor. All clinicians are regulated and in good standing in their respective provinces.
